My Position on the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA Covid-19 Vaccines

Updated 4/2023

I am opposed to taking the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA Covid-19 vaccines. As a Christian and an ordained minister, I believe that the Covid-19 vaccines violate God's will as revealed in the Bible. Genesis 1:26 teaches that God created the human body and its human immune system to function in the exact way He created it. The Covid-19 vaccine s interfere with this function. The "new technology" of the Covid-19 vaccines insert genetic code instructions into the cell to direct it to make spike proteins. This interferes with the function of the human immune system as God designed it. God's intent was for the DNA within a person's body in a cell nucleus to give genetic code instructions not anything outside the cell. Therefore, this process is a violation of God's will for humanity.

This is my sincerely held belief which prevents me from taking the Covid-19 vaccines.

Sincerely in Christ,

Rev. Ron Jones, D.D.

President, The Titus Institute

Religious Exemption Form or Personal Statement for Employer For The PFIZER, MODERNA, AND JOHNSON AND JOHNSON COVID-19 VACCINES ONLY

Updated 9/15/2022

Many non-healthcare employers are not requiring the Novavax vaccine. The Novavax vaccine is a different kind of vaccine from the three above and therefore requires different religious reasons for rejecting it. This webpage give information only on the three original vaccines mandated in the US.

How To Fill Out the Religious Exemption Form or Personal Statement for Your Employer for the Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson covdi-19 vaccines.

According to the ADA law, the religious beliefs you describe must be sincerely held religious beliefs. This means that you must understand them, believe them, and be able to articulate them verbally or in writing.

What to Put on Your Employer Form if the Form Has Questions/Requests

The form usually has instructions like 1., 2. and 3.below. Put in the answers below that most nearly fit the numbered requests. USE YOUR OWN WORDS

Employer Request 1:

Please explain the religious belief, observance, or practice that prevents you from getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

Answer:

Genesis 1:26 teaches that God created the human body and its human immune system to function in a certain way exactly as He created it. Human beings are not allowed by God to interfere in that function.

Employer Request 2:

Please describe the specific conflict between your religious belief, observance or practice and the COVID-19 vaccine. In your response, please address the following: What are the specific reasons the vaccine requirement conflicts with your religious beliefs, observances or practices?

Answer:

The Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccines interfere with the function of the human immune system which God created. These vaccines give genetic code instructions to the cell that does not originate from the DNA in the cell. God's intent was for the DNA within a person's body in a cell nucleus to give genetic code instructions not anything outside the cell. Therefore, this process violates God's will for humanity.

Employer Request 3:

Please provide any information that will help us to determine that your belief is sincerely held with the strength of traditional religious views. For example, does this belief affect any other aspect of your life? Please provide any details you feel are relevant.

Answer:

For Christians, all of our religious beliefs are based on the Bible. The Bible reveals to us what God's will is and we are committed to believing it and following it on a daily basis. As in all my beliefs, I live by them and express them to others. Also, it has caused me not to receive the Covid19 vaccines.

What to Put in Your Personal Statement Letter

You want to be brief and to the point. Anything you state, they can ask you about. Review the three answers above and turn them into personal statement, but put it in your own words.

Some personal statements I have seen are too long, too emotional, and not Biblical.

If you want to use the clergy statement or a clergy letter from me, the reasons given in your form or personal statement must match the reasons articulated in the answers in the form above.

If you have any immediate questions about filling out the form or your personal statement. Please DM me on my Instagram account (@rjtitusinstitute).
